BenGusto.com has been awarded its first award, the “Liebster Award” for great, new blogs that deserve recognition. I am thrilled to be given this honor, especially only after 4 months of starting “Ben Gusto”.
I would like to give Eunice, the author of the fantastic blog “nutsfortreasure“, my ever lasting gratitude for nominating me! Nutsfortreasure is da bomb!
So, apparently, the Liebster Award comes with a few steps. The nominator is required to ask its nominee 11 questions about himself/herself, then the nominee is supposed to answer them, and nominate more bloggers for the award. Alright, sounds fun!
Let’s answer nutsfortreasure’s questions then:
1. What makes you happiest?
Getting to experience something new out of my ordinary routine. Whether it’s good or bad, it always provides good memories! I also am cheered up by laughter, or a good cup of Torino’s famous hot chocolate (which I will blog about).
2. Do you love the ocean or mountains more?
Mountains. You can ski, go for a hike, or just breath the fresh air. Gotta love those alps!
3. What has been your favorite moment in 2012?
Living in the city of Torino for 6 months was an amazing experience. I miss city life dearly.
4. What is your favorite quote and why?
“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” -Dr. Suess. I try to follow this ideology when looking back on happy memories.
5. Do you like ROAD TRIPS?
I’m not great at sitting for long, but road trips are real fun. I’ve had some good ones around Europe over the years that I will always remember. Driving through countries such as Spain, France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Italy has been a blast.
6. Do you stay up till the Stroke of Midnight on New Years Eve?
Yes. How can you not?
7. Something you wish you had learned earlier?
I wish I had learned how great of a sport soccer is earlier. I started in 5th grade (5 years ago), which is a tad late.
8. What was your favorite class while still in school?
Well, I still am in school. Right now, in the 10th grade, my favorite classes are government and chemistry.
9. What musical instrument have you tried to learn to play?
I played piano for 5 years, but then quite in 7th grade. I am trying to pick it back up again, but it’s hard to fit it in a tight schedule. Piano really is a spectacular instrument.
10. Do you live your life now, Daring Greatly?
I’d say so. I like to try new things, push my limits, and all that good stuff. I am not afraid to move houses, as long as the new place is somewhere nice (with good food too).
11. Do you like to do crafts or draw or even paint?
I used to draw a great comic strip, which resulted in my first website. The strip was called “ChinSlip”, and I would post a new comic on my website every so often. Unfortunately, I couldn’t keep up with it.
I nominate mookielovesbread and Oh Shine On for the Leibster Award. They are two fantastic blogs!
If they want, they can answer this question: What is the secret to success?
